Manchester and Districts Hospitals’ Choir perform 2 concerts annually at the Brigewater Hall, Manchester in aid of Young Lives vs Cancer
The concerts are held on two consecutive nights in early December
The choirs meet for combined rehearsals on two occasions before the concert, under the musical directorship of Stuart Overington M.Mus, A.P.G. Dip.
The choirs are usually supported by 4 primary school choirs, 2 on each night and the Greater Manchester Police Trumpeters.
Musical Director and Conductor is Stuart Overington M.Mus, A.P.G. Dip and Organist is George Herbert.
2024 Concerts
The dates for your diaries for the 2024 concerts are 2nd & 3rd December 2024. Anyone wishing to contribute to the Charity, please send cheques payable to Manchester & Districts Hospitals’ Choir to Martin Lupton 19 Meadway Sale M33 4PX or, better still, attend one of the concerts and enjoy a real good sing. This is a great way to show your appreciation to NHS staff, many of whom give up their time to sing in the choir to support this very worthwhile charity – Young Lives vs Cancer
